Corralejo
Corralejo is a popular resort situated on the north side of the Canary Island of Fuerteventura. Corralejo is known for the beautiful vast white beaches backed by beautiful dunes that resemble the
Sahara desert. There are also many opportunities for water sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing.
In the old town, with its narrow streets and small squares prevails despite tourism has that typical Spanish atmosphere. The main street is full of shops and a number of nightclubs and bars.
Fuerteventura
Fuerteventura is the second largest island of the Canary Islands. It is the most south-east of the archipelago belonging to Spain. The more than seventeen hundred square kilometers island is of volcanic origin. This can be seen very clearly in the rolling countryside where you can see in many places how the lava flows formed the hills and mountains. How relative beauty is noticeable in how people assess the landscape. Many tourists visiting Fuerteventura find that there is a clear lack of 'green', that nature is dull and dry and that islands such as Gran Canaria and Tenerife would be nicer. We dispute this much, because if you look closely sees that Fuerteventura has many faces and that what we call other people boring (and enough people with us) precisely this simplicity in decor are so gorgeous.
